How School Leaders Make Decisions About Tuition and Compensation

Editor’s note: This is the first in a two-part series examining tuition trends in independent day schools, including schools’ efforts to cut costs and generate revenue. Independent school professionals William Daughtrey, Will Hester, and Kevin Weatherill authored this series, which is distilled from their study "Tuition Trends in Independent Day Schools” at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College, conducted in partnership with NAIS.

THIS is very cool! It’s like Myers Briggs meets LinkedIn! Try it out. It could help facilitate your hiring!

Bunch.ai, a Berlin startup of organizational psychologists, data scientists, and software developers, built Emma to add a behavioral information layer to your LinkedIn profile.
She uses machine learning and a natural language processing algorithm to analyze your profile, posts, and recommendations. She then fits you into one of 14 behavioral types based on a model developed by Charles O’Reilly, PhD, an organizational behavior professor at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

In a quest to become leaders, innovators, broad thinkers, and global citizens, students look-out for the best college or university which can guide them towards erudition in their field of interest. On the other hand, educators want to keep-up with the advancements in technologies, the best practices of teaching and the ideal platform available to share their knowledge. With the rising competition for qualified teachers, there is simply no substitute for a real person able to answer questions, and to talk knowledgeably not only about your school, but also your city, country, and region.
