Our client school in Bogota, Colombia is seeking a dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking PYP Coordinator to lead the IB Early Childhood and Primary Years section for January 2027 (possibly immediate hire - I am checking on this...) 

The School is seeking someone to champion the authenticity and integrity of the PYP while ensuring that the programme continues to evolve in response to a rapidly changing world. 

This position requires a strong interdisciplinary approach and an international mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and development of the PYP across Early Years and Primary.

• Coordinate curriculum planning, implementation and assessment.
• Support and guide teachers in PYP practices, inquiry-based learning and pedagogical innovation.
• Lead IB self-evaluation, certification and programme review processes.
• Act as the main liaison between the school and the International Baccalaureate.
• Promote professional development, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Manage the PYP budget and resources.
• Support an international-minded, student-centred learning environment

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Specialisation or Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in IB programmes.
• Knowledge of international curricula and PYP practices.
• Experience in curriculum leadership and teacher development.
• Experience with budget management and educational technology.
• English C1 required; C2 preferred.
